    In Niflheim i'm finding it impossible to counter the valkyries attacks with the shield, seen loads of people do it and i've had no problems with countering any other enemies. Tried for like 2 hours and i don't see what i'm doing wrong to not be able to counter

    Gaiman has a very obvious boner for Norse Mythology, as he throws it into basically everything he does, so he took the most famous of the stories of the Asgard and make some easy-to-read stories out of them. After reading it, a lot of things we're a lot of fun to see in the game, like Ivaldi's workship, where Loki tricked Ivaldi and his sons and Brok and Sindri into competing with each other, which is when Thor got his hammer.

    What I found the most fun was that even though GoW definitely changed the role of the Aesir, Jotuns, and Vanir, when you read it the only thing you can say to yourself is "HOOOOOLY SHIIIIT, the Asgard were assholes.".

    I never played Ascension or the PSP games, but I'd love to watch the entire story of Kratos like a movie.

    Its been years since I played the original trilogy and watching a video made me realize how much I forgot, like Pandora's box, the heroes that Kratos has killed, or the 9 billion times Kratos was sent to Hades.
