    Decided to check out how the game looked on PS5 after they unlocked the framerate, fully committed to just playing for 10 minutes and putting it down. 5 hours later and I'm still going.

    I swear this game will never not grab me. I fully intended to just play around and see how it looked, and see how it felt using the new controller even if it doesn't use any of the features.

    But the intro just fucking got me again. I was planning on not doing another playthrough until we hear more about the sequel, I've played it 4 times now and platinumed it on the second. So I didn't want to burn myself out (I know, likely won't actually happen with this game).

    As soon as Kratos says: "Find your way home. You are free." And that music kicks in, I got chills again. I felt emotional again. I was completely and utterly absorbed, again. I just don't have this reaction with other games any more.

    For people wondering how it looks and plays on PS5 although I'm sure you've already heard by now, it's amazing as expected.

    Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go listen to a disembodied head tell me some more bed time stories.

    Just finished the story on GMGOW and got rewarded 2 shield skins, this is 1:

    It says "a reminder of past sins".... Could someone remind me what this symbol means or references to? I played all god of war games but Im old now and probably forgot :|

    Googling also didnt really give any answers :(

    3 years ago today, God of War (2018) was released. Fimbulwinter had also begun (according to Broc's scrote) - Let's try to get out there on Twitter tagging SonySantaMonica and using the #RagnarokBegins to celebrate the 3rd year anniversary of God of War. Its a big day for God of War everywhere, and thanks to Kratos giving all of us hope i cant help but hold out hope for a teensy weensy little teaser of some sort today but, tempering expectations is key haha
