    Didn't enjoy the game much on my first attempt and quit after alfheim i think, re played it again a year and a half later and I'm enjoying it much more than before.

    I didn't enjoy running around the map for 15 minutes looking for a solution to an entrance or a puzzle only to find that i could've scrolled up or smth. I was overwhelmed by the upgrading and armor that i burned out and dropped the game. I used to play it on a disc i borrowed from my cousin, i returned it to him a while ago.

    A year and a half later i get the itch to play the game so i download it and was excited to pick up where i left off but apparently the digital game didn't recognize the saved data probably due to region locks or smth.

    Anyways an hour into it after the fight with the stranger, i just start going streamrolling through the game, maybe my previous knowledge helped me and i still haven't passed the point where i last stopped but I'm close. I watched one of these tips before you start the game and the tips were helpful for a fun experience, things like dont buy an armor which i think i did before and not be stingy with your xp which i was.

    My combat skills are quite varied which made it more fun, and i found out i could upgrade my rune skills too, there's a cool wave attack that can be upgared to be tripled which I'm saving up for. If i get stuck in the chests i just look for how to do open them online and don't waste time on it.

    I can't pinpoint why it's a better experience now but it some of the reasons above. I get the itch to play throughout the day now.

    How to get into GOW series

    I've been wanting to play the series for a while and with the new game that came out I want to start it. However what is the best game to jump into to start the series? I've tried playing the first game a few years back but it just feels so out dated with the controls and gameplay so is the 2nd game a good starting point?

    Does runic increase damage of blessing of frost?

    Sorry for this stupid question but I would like to switch to a more melee focused build and was wondering if it's still worth using blessing of frost with no runic. If it does make a difference, how much? Is it very noticeable or negligible?

    Question About The Valkyries

    TL;DR I want to know if it's better to tackle the Valkyries in NG or NG+

    I played through God of War 2018 at launch and, thinking I would go back through and complete many of the side-quests to get Platinum, beat it. But then I didn't go back through it (something else probably came along). A couple of months ago, I decided to revisit the game. I thought, I'll go into NG+ so I can breeze through the story once more.

    The game is truly amazing, and I really do want the platinum, which involves beating all of the Valkyries.

    My question is, would I be better off playing through NG cycle once more and fighting them, or continue trying to fight them in NG+?

    If kratos was somehow dropped in the middle of a big battle between armies and neither were friendly, how would he do ? Is there a limit to how many soldiers he could take on ?
