Posted: 02 Nov 2019 11:20 AM PDT Hey, so I've just beaten Sigrun and have completed the whole Zeus set. But my Valkyrie set with enchantments is rated 10, and my Zeys set with the same enchantments is rated as a high 9. Is it supposed to be that way? Maybe it's not stronger than the Valkyrie set because I haven't upgraded it yet with Brok and Sindri? [link] [comments]
What level do you recommend I be before I tackle Niflheim? Posted: 02 Nov 2019 06:33 AM PDT I'm level 6, but I was having a really rough time even getting like 2-3 chests in one run [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Nov 2019 06:32 AM PDT I was replaying god of war and I got to the part with the first time you meet the world serpent, the serpent starts speaking, he says "I know you" am I the only one who noticed it? And could this possibly give us clues to what will happen in future sequels? [link] [comments]
When was Kratos at his most powerful? Posted: 02 Nov 2019 04:12 AM PDT If we exclude GOW 4 Kratos since we have no idea what his true potential is, which version of Kratos was the most powerful? At first I thought it would have been Kratos from the end of the first game but then remembered that without the Blade of the Gods he would've been killed by Ares. In GOW 2 Zeus himself was too fearful to take him head on which begs the question, when did Kratos get so much more powerful between the first and second game. Ghost of Sparta shows that Kratos declined Athena's offer to make him a God. However, at the end of the third main game, he goes on to overpower Zeus in a titanic struggle and eventually impale him with the blade of olympus. Logically, Zeus should be far more powerful than Ares. This should mean that it comes down to beginning of GOW 2 Kratos and end of GOW 3 Kratos. I'm also curious about what powers were taken away when the eagle (Zeus). Could it be possible that Kratos at the beginning of the game had the powers of a God of War (Summon any weapon, make any mortal go mad with rage, create pocket dimensions, blessing a chosen warrior with various powers and abilities etc.). It is evident that Kratos had not lost his Godly strength as demonstrated when he prevents the Colossus of Rhodes from stepping on him and even making it fly a few hundred feet from the force of his push. Which reinforces the point that Kratos did have other powers we did not know of at the beginning of the game. [link] [comments]
Why I like the new God of War direction (Gameplay and a changed Kratos) Posted: 01 Nov 2019 07:33 PM PDT The gameplay change is for the better. When Ascension released, many critics said it felt the same and that everything in the game had been done before, and they were right. For 6 games (Ascension, Chains of Olympus, 1, Ghost of Sparta, 2, & 3) God of War used the same structure and gameplay. After a while, you start to feel the gameplay fatigue and things no longer feel new. Some may claim that Kratos has gone soft. Well, he has no reason to be angry. He got his revenge and started a new life. He's holding back his anger and tries to be a loving father so he can break the cycle of sons killing their fathers. Kratos regrets many of his actions and he doesn't want Atreus to follow his footsteps, he wants him to be better. Kratos destroyed an entire realm because of his need for vengeance. That's why at the end of 3, he gave the Power of Hope to the people, in a small effort to undo some of the wrong he committed. GoW 4 isn't suppose to be about rage, it's suppose to be about family, fatherhood, and being better. Kratos holding back and controlling his anger is shown in the Dark Horse comics, a prequel to GoW4. He no longer wants his rage to control him. [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Nov 2019 05:17 AM PDT Is it okay to enter new game+ without having defeated all the valkyries? Or is it wiser to finish every single content before entering new game+ . I just got back after a few months without playing because of some certain valkyrie, but now I managed to finally beat one (after equipment grinding of course). [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Nov 2019 12:23 AM PDT After beating Sigrun on GmGoW+ mode and getting the platinum, which took hours of doing that fight over and over again. I was helping a friend with his game on Give me a Challenge and she was so easy it almost felt like a separate boss. [link] [comments]
