    Axe > Blades

Let's be real, the axe just feels way more "heavy" and badass than the blades.

    Forgot my controls

    Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:19 AM PST

It's been a while since I played god of war. I finished the game an year back and recently I picked it up and started a new game plus mode. Everything is fine except I don't remember how to access my blades of chaos, its not showing up in the skills section either, it looks blocked. Am I missing something?. I can't remember the controls to bring up the blades instead of the axe, can anyone help?

That fight felt amazing. I know I could have gotten a lot farther - but I miss judged that enemy distance and timing of my Runic Attack by a fraction of a second! Oh well, still destroyed that Gold target !

How can Kratos kill full fledged gods?

    Posted: 09 Nov 2019 07:24 PM PST

Hold out for a second. I know very little about the games and very little about the real mythology that the games are spawnd from. I was randomly recommended a video of Hephaestus from God of War 3 and gathered he was the god of smithing. In it he kills Hephaestus and there was talking of Kratos killing Zeus who from what I gathered is the strongest god? I scrolled into the comments and saw someone mentioning that Kratos was a mortal but is now a demi-god which from again what I gathered is that he is more than a mortal now but still not fully a god? Here is where I don't understand. How can a demi-god kill some of the strongest gods so easily or is it just the games that make it seem like that? From someone being nothing to killing gods confuses me but also intrigues me. Really appreciate your time and you knowledge to help me understand. Thank you.

How do I know if I've found any of the ciphers in God of War?

    Posted: 10 Nov 2019 12:46 AM PST

Where would it say it? Is it in my resources? I've already beaten a lot of the game and I can't seem to find anything in my resources or the pause screen that says "cipher." I don't want to go to some area that I've already beaten and try to find something I've already gotten.

Kratos has more personality in GoW 1 then I remember

    Posted: 09 Nov 2019 02:44 PM PST

I finished God of War 1 for the first time after a really long time. I always remembered Kratos for screaming "Zeus!" and "I will have my revenge!" But after playing GoW 1 again I noticed how similar his personality is from the latest GoW game. The man suffered for years after what he did and you can hear the pain in his voice begging the gods to make him forget what he did. I'd say he wasn't that far away from becoming the Kratos we meet in the latest game (until gods decided to fuck with him in the second game as far as I remember). He was still kinda crazy tho. He killed some humans because the gods demanded sacrifice and he didn't even think it twice to do it since it was the only way to kill Ares.
