I finished my Geirdriful Valkyrie costume last month and made a full suitup video. Full costume took about 4 months to make.

Immortality in the God of War universe.

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 07:54 AM PDT

Yesterday I came across a guy on an online forum who was confused because he didn't understand how Kratos could have killed Poseidon and a few other gods without the power of hope or the blade of olympus. This got me thinking,as I always thought that mortals in universe couldn't kill gods simply because they are not strong enough to do so. (For example, a regular mortal couldn't decapitate a god as they are not powerful enough to do so).

However the general consensus among the fandom seems to be that there are some sort of special conditions needed to kill a god, using specific weapons or powers. This doesn't make sense to me because Kratos was able to kill Poseidon, for example, with his bare hands, and the power of Hope was apparently suppressed within him so he didn't have access to it.

What do you guys think of this?

Should I read into Norse mythology before playing gow2018?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 11:00 AM PDT

So I've been making my way through this series and just finished gow3 and will start ghost of Sparta soon but, while I was playing I realized I know basically nothing about Greek mythology and my friend said they got into the lore of Norse mythology after he played the game. I saw some people say they read Neil Gaiman's Norse mythology book after playing the game so I'm wondering if you guys think I should look into that before or after I play the game or if it even matters at all.

Is it even fair? If you beat em all you get something? Or just the fact that you beat em its enough.

[Spoiler] Kratos and Faye suddenly makes sense

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 02:13 PM PDT

Looking back at the game (just finished it for the first time).

There's a line when Atreus tells Mimir about how his mom told him that gods are evil, or something along those lines.

And I can see everything clearly now. Of course she hated gods, Odin killed of her entire fucking race. Kratos and her had some mutual hate for gods cause of losing loved ones to evil gods (even if Kratos didn't know it).

That said, what was in that painting Kratos saw at the end which Atreus never saw. Looked like something snake like

Should God of War: Ragnarok be PS5 only or cross-generation with PS4?

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 07:17 PM PDT

Should the next God of War be cross gen or PS5 only? A lot of people want it to be PS5 only, but there is lots of speculation online that it will also be on PS4, due to the massive number of PS4 users, meaning a larger market for the game. David Jaffe who worked on the original God of War series believes that it will be cross gen.

What do you think? Does it matter to you if the next game is cross gen or not? What would you like to see? Let's discuss!
