Anybody care about seeing the original PS2 God of War from a freecam point of view?

They really milked those forced camera views for all they could, almost nothing was built as a complete object.

Did becoming the God of War really serve any purpose?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 09:04 AM PDT

    Think about it.

It was very brief and well... what did it do for Kratos' character or the story?

One could argue that it rekindled his bond with Sparta, but that could've been done other ways. The same can be said for how Zeus' betrayal happened.

Baldur Boss Fight Details - Atreus God Powers Foreshadowing?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 11:00 AM PDT

So I'm playing through GoW GMGOW NG+ again at ilvl 1 (Yes I know, many here told me it was pointless, save me it please.) and on my 50th attempt of Baldur (Finally got him down all in one run - instead of corpse dragging through checkpoints) I noticed something.

The camera shakes like someone's running to kratos during the cut scene between the first two phases of the fight, and also when he looks up at the boulder to punch it out and drop it on Baldur. At a few other points during the fight the camera is fps - Like you're running with Kratos, or watching him do something. I always assumed this was for immersion.

BUT afterward, Atreus draws baldur in the notebook in an entry called the "Stranger." How did he know what Baldur looked like? Maybe Kratos said something to him "off camera" or something that wasn't annotated during the game play. Or maybe the camera angle was Atreus following Kratos.

Is the FPS camera angle, how it bobs like someone is watching from behind Kratos, actually Atreus using a godly power? Maybe he had far sight, or turned invisible, or some other god power that allowed him to do this?

My only thing is Atreus didn't know he had godly powers and that's why he got sick, but maybe he didn't know this wasn't normal for mortals to be able to do?

Question about the Grip of Tanngiost

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 10:13 AM PDT

Are leiptr alloys used for anything other than the Grip of Tanngiost? In the description it doesn't specifically mention that grip and just generally refers to shock damage pommels. I don't know if there are more shock damage pommels. I'm not very far into the game yet so, should I spend them on that pommel since it's the only Legendary I've found so far? I would just hate to find one better later and have nothing to upgrade it with.
