    I know it is unlikely to ever happen, but I love Japanese mythology. The only possible reference I have seen in the current God of war was in Tyr's temple. There is a tapestry with Tyr and what looks like Japanese style dojo/castle(memory is foggy) and some samaurai type people.

    I'm very excited on how kratos will change the Norse mythology, especially with his future grandson fernir in future god of war games.

    Hello.

    I'm very excited when kratos changes the Norse. Yes the prophecy said kratos may or may not die, but kratos defied fate before. So it's possible kratos is the piece that screws everything up.

    The reason I'm excited is because in the original mythology fernir kills Odin, I think.

    It's gonna be so awesome on what kratos does with his grandson. He can definitely change fate with him.

    Are you guy's excited for fernir appearance? And are you also excited when kratos defies fate(prophecy) once again?

    Currently equipped with Surtr's Grip of Flame (Axe) and Grips of the Forgotten Flame (Blades).

    Thinking of switching to the Forgotten Grip of the Ages+ .

    So how do I beat the first boss?

    Everytime I go in for a hit it doesn't matter when I do the guy always counters and in dead in like 3- 4 hits really? I cant even get this guy down to 75% health. I never had this issue in past god of war games. I'm also on the easiest difficulty.

    I'm planning on starting a Give Me God Of War + playthrough. My character is at low level 9 with max full Valkyrie armor and shattered gauntlet with matching enchantments.

    GoW Ascension Chapter 21 can't continue

    So I've been playing through all the god of war games and I've got to Ascension, in Chapter 21 after you ascend the elevator using the doppleganger, I'm at the top and I've cleared out all the enemies, but when I try to proceed to the next area through the exit, it's just not working, I've tried reloading a checkpoint I've tried restarting the game I've tried reloading from the previous Chapter, I simply can't go anywhere, is this a glitch? Can I fix this? Or have I just wasted 5 hours on a so far pretty mediocre game with nothing to show for it?

    What if Atreus/Loki was Odin’s son and not Kratos’s ?

    Odin had forced sex on Faye despite being a Giant. He knew that the child might cause a problem and decided it to be killed after Faye give birth (he couldn't resolve into killing her).

    However Faye planned revenge for the giants and knew only if his son would live that would happen. She then found Kratos the slayer of Olympus and coupled with him despite being already pregnant and hiding it from him. She then told that Atreus Loki is its son. Faye's son would then be raised by the killer of the gods of Olympus and there would be no way he would fail. Odin fearing Kratos couldn't decide to act against Loki.

    I can see Kratos's fate continuing to curse him because if he wasn't still cursed there would be no game.

    His fake son will take the same path as Kratos. Loki will kill everyone at Valhalla with ragnarok. However Kratos will want him to stop and to take another path. Kratos will have to slay his "adoptive" son.

    I think it is evident that this will happen there are some hints about it in the last game.

    What do you think about this ?
