    Who would win in an all out battle? Kratos in his prime (God of War II & III Kratos with The Blade of Olympus) Or current old Kratos working together with Atreus and perhaps Mimir (God of War IV endgame Kratos) without using any kind of ressurections, like climbing out of the Underworld / Hel?

    Despite Atreus and Old Kratos becoming a very good team at the end of God of War IV, I would say probably God of War II & III Kratos would win, because if he catches Atreus just once then it is pretty much over for him, then from then on it's basically just a 1 vs 1 with young Kratos against the Old one and I don't see why would the Old Kratos win in that case. Young Kratos is faster, stronger, more aggressive, doesn't hold back. However Old Kratos is more experienced probably.

    However if they play it smart and Atreus keeps his distance and Mimir perhaps manages to come up some kind of trap or plan then maybe they stand a chance, but God of War II & III Kratos was pretty much unstoppable so it's hard for me to say.

    Some thoughts and things I’d love to see in Ragnarok

    First of all, the game is incredible on its own and set a clear passage that leads to the next two games

    I enjoyed the lore and gameplay for the most part, although I'm kinda disappointed with the over implementation of RPG elements, the most annoying part being the level system where enemies with higher levels than you are basically blood sponges regardless of your skills. This is something I wish Santa Monica can remove from the next game and let players fight on their own terms

    Apart from that, the gameplays are pretty much fine, they won't affect you that much once the main missions are completed. Rarity in drops and skill trees are pretty rewarding and adds lots of playability to the game

    There are another couple quality of life issues like how the fast travel takes forever, the slow rock climbing, and the fucking levels in Niflheim, which are tolerable, but improvements are much welcomed.

    The story and music are flawless, not gonna touch on that, just hope they keep up with the good work and make it longer since they now get to build the game on an existing system

    A personal prediction of the story, we get to play as both Kratos and the adult version of Atreus separately. We begin with Kratos and switch to the boi in mid game. They're going to have different but intertwined quest lines where your choices for one character will affect the other character and how the story proceeds. Atreus will have more part than assisting with arrows now that he's one of the two playable characters.

    Also, I have a strong feeling, that Atreus and Kratos will fight Freya several times on different occasions, and that Freya will die at the hands of Atreus. Mark my words for it!!! And from the looks of it Odin will survive another game, but at least make an appearance in Asgard, instead we get to beat the shit out of Thor as the final boss in Ragnarok.

    As much as we all love Atreus being "boy" I hope that we get a scene in Ragnarok (or later) where he says something along the lines of "You haven't called me Boy in a while...." for Kratos to reply " Because you are now a Man" ; or something like that

    Upcoming gameplay/imagination ideas?

    So I've been trying to imagine what the next game's plot and gameplay will look like and wanted to see if any of y'all have some ideas to share and pique my imagination. Currently, I can only imagine that fighting Thor and/or Odin will be ridiculously epic, and yet I can't quite picture it. It's unfortunate that we only have the battles with Baldur, Magni, and Modi to go off of. While those fights were initially awesome I now (replaying the game a third time) find it kinda…lackluster. Not saying it's all boring, otherwise I wouldn't be playing it multiple times. I guess I just want, and hope for, that feeling of satisfaction from the story in the upcoming game and am relating it too much to the current GoW. . . . Atreus is gonna be a snappy and annoying teenager, calling it right now. With Kratos constantly rolling his eyes in the "can't believe I have to deal with this shit" fashion 😂.
