After the Scenes in Tyr's vault and Mimir's comments do you think we get a series in Egypt?

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 03:09 PM PDT

Mimir: that is from a desert land, very far from here.

    Atreus: Are there god's there?

Mimir: Oh yes, many, many gods.

Atreus: are they good or bad?

Mimir: it's not that simple, I'm afraid.

I would've loved a god of war series set in Egypt before one of Norse mythology, that's for sure.

It counts.. right? (GMGOW, Fist/shield, 1st playthrough)

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 09:17 AM PDT

I'm not sure if people have said this before, but how is it that kratos (and atreus) have a fate when kratos is supposed to have no fate?

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 12:59 PM PDT

Is it because it was a different mythology? And if kratos was unable to change fate in the new mythology, how is he able to cause Fimbulvetr to come sooner than predicted? I also heard that kratos killed gods who weren't actually supposed to die yet so thats another way he changed a pre-determined fate in the new mythology. Is it the fact that atreus's destiny greatly includes kratos that the giants were able to predict stuff about them both? I feel like if thid is the case I could kind of understand it, but still not completely because he has already been changing predetermined fate for the mythology.

The Fallen God Series was a Letdown, but a Big Shout Out to the Illustrators for Good Artwork!

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 04:02 PM PDT

Big shout out to Dan Jackson, Tony Parker, and Dave Rapoza for their hard and well done illustrations! Us God of War fans largely despise the comics, but at least the illustrations were great, no need to knock them. Usually, comic spin-offs of video games, or other comics short series based off non-comics have terrible/low funding for illustrators (usually). But God of War: Fallen God has some pretty good illustrators. Thank you to them who didn't half-ask the illustrations because it's not a mainstream comic series (very common in the industry).

    This game is my home

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 05:44 AM PDT

I dont know if anyone gives a flying fuck but last night I had an incredibly horrid mental health day. And since I was replaying God of War for the umpteenth time I decided to boot it up. Sailing around the lake of 9 brought me peace. Beating the shit out of draugr after draugr and killing God's made me feel powerful for a sec. And Listening to Kratos be the worst/best dad on the planet brought me joy. I love this game.

About the possible announcement later this month…

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 05:42 PM PDT

Do we Know that the possible announcement later this month is about the next God of War? They could be announcing a remaster of existing game(s) for all we know. Personally I'd be willing to wait till 2023 or even 2025 if that's what it took for the next game to be the best it could be.

Atreus has used "Rage of Sparta" twice in God of War 2018

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 01:00 AM PDT

I tried looking up atreus using rage of sparta but only noticed posts like the cutscene we see him using it then collapsing, while im not sure i don't think anyone has mentioned him using it the first time, the ACTUAL first time. The first time Atreus uses Rage of Sparta was in Alfhiem to kill all the dark elfs & to pull Kratos out of the Light. 3 reasons why i think this, doesn't have to be true but i was thinking about this while trying to sleep.

    1. He pulled Kratos out of the light.
      - we see him literally in pain just by trying to touch the light so how the hell did he pull Kratos out of it when he's in the center of the light? He would've had to push his entire body into the light to pull kratos out & we already saw him in pain just touching it before kratos steps in.
    2. He leaves piles of dead Dark Elfs near the Light of Alfhiem.
      - He slightly struggled to hold the Axe kratos Hands him so I assumed he managed to use it if he was using his rage of sparta when dealing with all the Dark Elfs & even pulls 1 arrow out of a Dark elf. Ifhe was grabbed by 1 dark elf forcing kratos to rescue him, how did he manage to create a mass of dead bodies which causes kratos himself to be speechless for a moment?
    3. He starts coughing a bit, some saliva around his mouth.
      - I know everyone has saliva but i mean to the point you can physically see a string connected from the top teeth to the bottom, nasty but i believe thats a detail & is already angry at Kratos. We know throughout the game Atreus has anger issues & i do believe this is an example to prove it. I'm sure there's a better one.

if this has been talked about already, i couldn't find it but its slightly bothered me & i couldn't find anyone talking about it.
