You guys like my phone case?

Just a quick reminder for Thor and Odin.

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 09:49 AM PDT

This actualy should have been an only graphite drawing, guess I went a little ham with the colours...

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 06:13 AM PDT

This is why I love this game. I still remember the awe from god of war 2 climbing up Gaia the mother of Titans to reach Mount Olympus to kill Zeus. At the time that was ground breaking graphics and imagery

    Sigrun's Rush Attack

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 11:14 AM PDT

I'm fighting Sigrun in ng+ and the only thing fucking me up is her rush attack. She rushes at you and from that rush will either do an unblock able thrust with her right wing, spin her wings around or slash at you with her wings but from what I can tell there's no distinction between which attack she'll do, so if I dodge to avoid her wing thrust I get hit by her wing spin, but if I block to avoid her wing spin I get stabbed by her wing thrust and I seriously cannot see any difference in the wind up animation. Am I just completely blind or is this a glitch?

    GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK

    Posted: 13 Jul 2020 08:08 PM PDT

How strong do you think BOI will be?

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 08:54 AM PDT

Given that he has spartan rage, do you think his version will match up to Kratos's or will it be more of a speed upgrade? Will he strong even without using it like Kratos as well?

Do I need to complete the Niflheim Realm Tears to unlock Konunsgard?

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 08:15 AM PDT

Basically I completed the Niflheim Realm Tears a long time ago, back when the game first came out, but I lost all my progress. Recently I got back into it and wanted to platinum the game. I need to read one more Jötnar Shrine but it's in Konunsgard, which is locked until you help the dwarves with all their favours and get the "Hail to the King" mission. The realm tears in Niflheim count as a favour towards Sindri, but I really, really don't want to put myself through the grind again. So essentially, do I need to complete Niflheim AGAIN to get to Konunsgard? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have any not-so-favorite levels in God of War?

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 11:22 AM PDT

Whenever we play a(ny) game and finish the story fully, we all have that immense satisfaction that the game gives you through its journey — which is very good — such that we all remember and feel only the positive vibes when we think of it.

Conversely, we will have those moments/game levels that tend to give out negative vibes, make you tensed and uncomfortable so much so you want to get out of that soon or skip that level.

I am just curious to know what level/moment(s) in God of War (2018) you guys have a "I don't like this place, I want to get out of here asap" feeling? One of the levels I don't actually get a good, comfortable feeling about is when you're trapped inside Alfeim, and you need find your way out. Maybe the feeling of getting trapped makes me uncomfortable, or maybe it's due to the motion sickness I get from moving quickly in all directions to find a way out, maybe it's the darkness. But I kind of don't like Alfeim to be honest. It's so beautiful though.

Likewise I'd like to hear your not-so-favorite levels, and why so...

    Thank you Bois

Finally finished the story for the first time.

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 12:34 AM PDT

I'm pretty blown away. I understand why the community behind this game is so strong and why it deserves so much praise. I finished the story finally after playing the game halfway through and stopping after I got it at launch. But I finally finished it and now have so many questions! I got to the Thor ending so I guess everything's done right? What else should I do? I have a lot to complete but I'm not sure where to start or what to do. Is there anything I should know or do first? I'm a bit overwhelmed.

Do the game teach you the basics again if you play new game+ ?

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 02:49 AM PDT

I finished the game over 1.5 years ago and when I tried playing it recently, I sucked real bad. I plan to platinum the game and playing the main story a 2nd time. So I was just wondering if the game will teach me the basics again in ng+ or should I start a new game?

Also do you still have the itmes that unlock the doors (not sure if that counts as a spoiler lol) from the beginning of ng+?

First Time playing GoW. Also Valkyries are insane...

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 02:26 AM PDT

I just finished GoW the other day and man. It was fking amazing. (Had to cleanse my eyes from that garbage called The Last of Us 2) I never played any other GoW; this was my first. It was hard to get into it bc i never really cared for these types of games. But it was an amazing experience. Now one of my top 5 games ever.

Anyway. I played on the easiest difficulty bc i really sucked at the beginning with the first mini boss on the balanced experience. Ive never had to lower the difficulty in any game in my life. But here i had to put it all the way to the easiest... that was disappointing. But even now, after finishing the game, i die like 5-8 times when fighting a Valkyrie. Are they supposed to be the hardest part of the game? Ive killed either 2 or 3 so far.

And how tf do people play on the hardest difficulty? I wanna go for platinum and play the game again on higher difficulties tho probably not the hardest.

Update: I FINALLY GOT IT AFTER 2-3 YRS OF GRINDING THE GAME OUT!

    Posted: 13 Jul 2020 03:49 PM PDT

Just Started on the Highest Difficulty Cus... why not? Have I made a huge mistake?

    Posted: 13 Jul 2020 10:18 PM PDT

For reference, I've played games such as the soulsborne series and this combat seems kinda similar, but also very different.

Ive been playing for a couple of hours and I just beat "the stranger" (but it's Loki right?), I feel like Im moving at a snails pace, but I am certainly moving. Basically my question is should I turn back, restart, figure out all the mechanics and do this difficulty on a second playthrough. Or should I just bear on and hope I git gud? How bad can it get right?
