Question; Why does nothing bad happen when Ares dies? Posted: 25 Jun 2021 03:25 PM PDT In God of War III, we are treated to the spectacle of the consequences to killing a god; the death of Poseidon engulfs the world in a flood, Hermes death brings plague, Hera's brings blight, etc etc. Even Persephone's death destroyed the Pillar of the World, forcing Atlas to carry Greece on his back. But when Ares dies, nothing really seems to happen outside of a really big explosion. There's no cataclysmic event that shakes the realm; Greece as a whole remains virtually unaffected, even before Kratos takes the throne as the new god of war. GoW Ragnarok Discussion Posted: 26 Jun 2021 02:25 PM PDT Will GoW Ragnarok heavily include time travel? I mean we know iirc that Fenrir's sons are chasing the sun and moon in the present timeline to trigger Ragnarok and that Fenrir is chained by Odin. Fenrir is the son of Atreus/Loki who is just a kid rn so how will the game go about this? Also, what role do you think Kratos and Atreus will play in Ragnarok?, considering these prophesies: Fenrir will kill Odin and will also die in the process. Surtr will burn Asgard to ground but will be killed by Odin and Thor. Jörmungandr and Thor will kill each other. First time player - tips / advice Posted: 26 Jun 2021 09:52 AM PDT Playing GoW for the first time (2nd hardest difficulty) and generally 20-25% done. I'm a bit lost with the best way of improving my gear. Is the only way to either buy or upgrade from the merchants? Is there a point in time where it makes sense to upgrade? I've been holding off waiting until I find better equipment Second Q: are the side quests encouraged to complete the game? Why do they never meet normal people in the game? Posted: 26 Jun 2021 01:25 AM PDT I am genuinely curious. The only people they meet are important characters and enemies. They never ever come across just a normal mortal. They aren't in Valhalla so that doesn't make sense. And it's not like people don't exist since Helheim is filled to the brim with people.
