    How long is the journey?

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 03:27 AM PDT

How long is the journey? I know that Iceland, Norway etc have long ass daylight hours and most probably no night hours in summers. But I assume going to a mountain walking would take a lot of time.

When god of war comes to PC I’m gonna pay TC Carson to do a voice mod

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 09:30 AM PDT

This is really a treat for the OG fans. I'm in the entertainment industry. A list celebrity that's as far as I'll say. Anyways I think I could get TC to do a voice mod so we could see his take on GOW4 kratos. He's an amazing actor. Only reason he wasn't used was because Cory didn't want to pay two actors to do what would actor could do as far as motion cap and voice act. It would make me replay that game over and over.

Theory: Every Demi-god becomes a real god eventually.

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 04:48 AM PDT

I recently thought about how Kratos became an actual god. Therefore, I searched for an explanation, but, apparently, the lore has no clear answer to that, yet and honestly, I don't think this will be explored in future GoW projects.

As far as we know, Kratos became a god, after he killed Ares and shortly after, lost his godhood again, when he was betrayed by Zeus, which does not explain why Kratos is considered a god in the latest entry in the series.

I always thought that the power of hope made Kratos an actual god, but after thinking about it, this does not make much sense either.

My theory to explain this "plothole" is that every or at least most (depending on the genes) demi-gods become full gods eventually, it just takes longer for them to develop their powers. This would explain why someone like Kratos, Hercules and so on could be raised by humans, without tarring the whole place apart. Also, I think that Kratos gained some sort of magical power, after he defeated Ares, which was the kind of power he lost, when Zeus betrayed him. But let us look at the evidence:

-Even after the loss of his supposed godhood, Kratos does not seem to have lost his true godly powers; his brute strength and the ability to change fate (though this is still up to debate), hinting that he only lost the magical powers, he gained in the last game.

-Magni and Modi are considered (minor) Aesir and were destined to be the new rulers of the norse realm, after Odin's death, even though they are demi-gods.

-In God of War 3, Hercules seems to be convinced that if he killed Kratos he would become the next God of War, making the term "god" seem like more of a title rather than an actual species.

-In the new God of War, Kratos says that Atreus was born a god, just like he was, even though Kratos' mother was mortal and at that point, he thought the same thing of Faye too.

-It was confirmed by the writers of the new God of War that Kratos is more powerful now than he was in God of War 3, further backing up the theory that power develops over time, in the GoW universe.

We know that every god is unique and that there can be drastic differences in power, even if they are siblings (Hera and zeus, Athena and Ares…). So, I think we can say that Kratos was born with an enormous amount of potential, which grew and grew, making him more powerful the longer he lived, which would explain why he had struggled to take down Ares in GoW 1, but was able to defeat someone like Poseidon with relative ease, only a few years later. For me the case is clear and even though there probably are some "holes" to this theory, I think it still makes the most sense of all others, I have read so far. But let me know your take in this theory. Did I miss something? What is your take on Kratos's godhood or Demi-gods in general?

God Of War Photo Mode (2018)

    Posted: 19 Jun 2021 04:21 PM PDT

If they would only bring back the combat from the original games, it would make the game (2018) harder.

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 08:55 AM PDT

I can't stand the new "combat" if I wanted to play dark souls I'd play dark souls. It's not hard to beat this game on give me god of war. Because like dark souls you could easily cheese these enemies. I had way more trouble beating god of war 2 on titan mode or god of war 3 chaos mode. Took me weeks to beat those games on the hardest difficulty. Beat this game in 2 days on GMGOW. I hope they expand on the gameplay in 5, tired of dark souls clones
