    God of War games/story playing order?

    Hello! I'm new to this reddit and the lore of God of War.i want to know what is the 'ideal' approach to play these games. I have never played any gow games but I do know some spoilers for gow 4 (which is practically unavoidable since it is so deeply ingrained in the gaming culture)

    I just wanted to know the best way of playing these games and know the story of Kratos.

    So, in Ragnorok, It's presumed that Kratos and Atreus are going to Hel. And Hel likes to torture it's visitors with their past. So what if we had a boss fight that was like Delirium in Binding of Isaac, where we're fighting memories of GoW3's bosses, same old music and everything. Picture this.

    Atreus fades away. Kratos yells out for him. The ground under his feet changes to rock and grass. The green mist transforms into sky. Kratos looks around in disbelief and confusion. He looks at his hands, and legs, to see he himself has transformed into GoW3 Kratos. Fearful beyond belief. He hears an echo-y voice...

    "YOU HAVE DISRESPECTED THE GODS FOR THE LAST TIME, KRATOS!"

    He utters to himself "By the gods... Can this be real?" He calls to Mimir with no response. Feeling no other choice, he unholsters the Blades of Athena, blood red, and gets into his fighting pose.

    Once Kratos defeats Poseidon and rips his body out of his water form, Kratos lands in darkness, gets back on his feet and hears "YOUR SOUL IS MINE!"

    In the end of the game after defeating Thanatos, kratos takes Deimos corpse at the hole that the Graveyard Digger (Zeus) digged. And by that...Has Zeus ordered Hades to torment Deimos soul after the end of the game?

    Is playing the GOW series in chronological order make the story flow better?

    I have played all the GOW games before and I am going to replay them and I want to know that anyone that has played the series in chronological order, is it better than playing it in release order? I playing it mainly for the story. Does it feel natural? Or is it like MGS where playing it in release order is better both for gameplay and story reasons?

    When you play through new game plus, if I go through and get ivaldis armor of deadly mist will it be more powerful then the one I have on now? Or is it the same essentially?
