God of War | They didn't have to put in so much detail lol. This game still amazes me. If you throw the axe down and jump you will reach before it does and you can see it falling down.

I finally convinced my girlfriend to play God of War and now she won't stop calling me "Boi", especially in bed. I'm not sure how to feel about that.

    Hi im new here

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 11:14 AM PDT

God of war has been an insane game i didn't play all old games yet I did play the new god of war 2018 and it was legendary. in truth i did watch old playthroughs of the previous titles and felt like i was playing the old games xd.

I'm also excited for ragnarok and have digged into kartos story for a few years. yet I'm still a young 13 old boy addicted to god of war content xd.

    Just beat GOW III, again!

And it still doesn't disappoint!!! This game is still amazing! Can we take a second to appreciate how badass kratos is for surviving that wound?! Also Athena still roaming around Greece in her Ghost form while Kratos is off having babies killing norse gods.

    A lil' thought

GoW 4 has to be one of my favorites of the series, especially the story telling,I love the fatherly feats that Kratos does for Atreus, what hit me the most is that when Atreus got sick and Kratos had to "dig up a past he swore to hide" I had been bawlling my eyes out,his overall body language in that scene speaks for itself,I never really had a father around, and seeing him pick up the Blades in order to save his son really hits me.

    Baldur Theory

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 01:30 AM PDT

OK I know this is probably a discussion post but do to it's nature I thought spoiler was more appropriate.

Imo Baldur is the norse reflection of Kratos.

Both Kratos and Baldur had promising lives before the gods messed them up. Kratos being a powerful Spartan Captain and Baldur being the God of light, he's often described as the joy of the Aesir.

Both probably suffered terrible abuse at the hands of their fathers/Kings of the gods. Zeus literally ran through Kratos with a Titan killer and given how Thor is an abusive dad to Modi, he probably learned that from Odin himself.

Both are cursed by the Gods. Kratos is cast into Hades multiple times and forced to relive his horrific past while Baldur feels nothing at all.

Both are shown to be tragic characters. (For Baldur im thinking the scene you witness in Helheim.)

The key difference is the time in their journeys. By GoW4 Kratos has already obliterated his pantheon and moved on whereas Baldur is just about to start his bloodbath.

I reckon if Kratos hadn't interfered, Baldur would have killed Freya, spiralled out of control and probably would have killed the others too.

The reason Kratos kills him is because he sees his old self in Baldur and knows that no amount of reason, logic or convincing is going to stop him. So he needs to die.

Of course this will probably all be made irrelevant when Ragnarok comes and Kratos becomes a one man army. Cool idea though.

    His default is pissed off

Someone posted the ship scene in hel and we hear young Kratos saying it is time to end this to which Zeus says yes my son it is time and I realised that this was not gow3 Kratos' voice. They acted out the lines spoken bw them in gow3 again in gow4 with new actors

    God of War 1 lagging?

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 11:40 AM PDT

Hey, so I got the HD Collection of PS4 recently, and when playing GoW 1, I've been experiencing some weird lag, or stuttering. Sometimes, when it happens, a little PS notification pops up, though I'm not really sure what it means, since I'm not a big Playstation player. Any ideas or suggestions as to what could be the issue? Cheers

    Baldur and Faye

    Posted: 27 Oct 2020 07:25 PM PDT

So, I know the story and that baldur was sent to find Faye to presumably prevent ragnarök etc. but I'm not sure why the Æsir want to find Faye. I'm pretty sure it's because they want to get into Jötunheim, but why? And all the giants are dead so surely haven't they already snuck in?
