I don't know if someone has already done this, but wouldn't be nice to post here places on Earth that reminds us where we've been on the Nine Realms? I say it because all I can see in these images is Midgard and Jötunheim

I’m grateful that people are talking about God Of War creator David Jaffe lately (he’s been in the news due to the Days Gone situation)

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 05:47 PM PDT

I'm seeing some people say they didn't even know about him, since he's stepped back from Game-making for now.

He and Cory seem like they stay in touch (I think of Jaffe as Cory's more swear-y, crass brother, hehe — a bit like the Sindri and Brok dynamic, actually...I wonder if there was some kind of subconscious inspiration there),

And I for one really appreciate his unfiltered takes ('I'm an acquired taste, but once you get used to it, you won't want anything else'), hehe.

I was inspired to post this based on his recent review of Mortal Kombat, which is a film that bodes extremely well for future game adaptations, nailing its fine, authenticity, artistry and fully fleshed out creative statement.

What do you think? Are you happy to see more of Jaffe going around? I'll discuss your replies on the next episode of The God Of War Podcast.

I am loving this game so far

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 04:22 PM PDT

Its just so good right now. When Baldur sort of ambushed us at the Jotunheim gate, that got me so hyped up. It was the most tense 7 and a half minutes that I've experienced in this game so far. And with Atreus shot Kratos becuase he felt that he could take on Baldur on his own, I mean that just hurt me. I don't really know what I'm trying to get at, but right now we're stuck in Helheim, and I really can't wait to see what happens next. I don't know how much story is left too, I hope it keeps going, I mean there's so much left that hasn't been said yet. I don't know if its because I haven't played any of the games prior or not. I'm really excited to see what happens next.

Should I get PlayStation Now in order to play GoW 1 and 2?

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 06:53 PM PDT

The PS4 God of War was my intro to the series, and it's fantastic. I watched a synopsis of the first three before beginning, not expecting to go back and play them all. I've got the platinum on GoW 2018, and am now going through NG+ on Give Me God of War. And now I'm interested in the others.

I have GoW 3 Remastered, but I'm wondering if I should just cave and get PlayStation Now and start from the beginning. Any opinions for me?

    100% Completion (GOW4)

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 05:36 PM PDT

So I am playing God Of War 4, and I am enjoying it so far. However, there seem to be lots to do after the main story. But when is the appropriate time to 100%? Here are some examples of during or after the main story:

Skyrim and Fallout 4 seem best to do the game after the main story: Dungeons, quests, etc.

BOTW and Red Dead are different:

It would seem absurd to be doing quests after the final boss in BOTW, while for Red Dead you are able to do almost all of the objectives during the game: including some as Arthur, that you would miss if it was John.

What about God of War? Are you able to finish everything during or after the story? So far I believe after would be most appropriate, because of the urgency the story is giving, and the fact that after the main story there are 2 dimensions to unlock.

But what do you guys think?

Question about god of war 4

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 01:31 PM PDT

I'm relatively new the the franchise, but I know the story well enough to wonder this: why was kratos effected so much when Atreus hit him with 1 electric arrow, in the previous god of war games, he got hit with way more electricity than that, and had a way less severe reaction, but when Atreus hit him once, he's stunned for a good 20 seconds, and don't say he was holding back, cause if he was, he wouldn't of allowed Atreus to be stabbed

[Story spoilers] Discussion about mythologies in new God of War game on ps4.

    Posted: 24 Apr 2021 06:29 AM PDT

I have been curious recently about the mythologies that basically got added into the GOW story.

Though i loved the previous installments to this franchise, i think its amazing that we are no longer bound to a single (greek) mythology and that Santa Monica have basically made and populated a world full of different gods, devils, angels, demons, monsters and creatures.

Its been a while since i played the game but i remember a quilt or rug and on each corner was the symbol from a different mythology: Egyptian, Greek, Japanese and another which i was not familiar with at first but later found out to be Celtic.

If it comes to it will Kratos, BOY! Atreus or both end up in one of these other lands and keep spreading chaos or will this all end in the norse lands? I seriously cant wait to find out.

I hope we get to witness other gods of war because Baldur (he was actually the God of Light... just did a quick check) was brilliant as a character and an even better antagonist. It kinda sucked his weakness was mistletoe of all things but it was true to the mythology so Santa Moinca get points for accuracy.

Unfortunatley i never got to fully complete the FULL story as that Valkyrie queen bitch was just way too hard so after hundreds of damn attempts i gave up for a while and was going to get back to it later... months later... but eventually my PS4 stopped playing discs so that is now out of the question for a while.
