    2 quotes from GOW 2018 that many people have omitted that have a hidden meaning

    Hello. I think we all heard the quote "The cycle ends here. We must be better than this." and thought about God of War 2, when Zeus said the same line. This quote is great, with a hidden meaning, but I think I found 2 more of this kind.

    1. "Find you way home. You are free" - Kratos (from GOW 2018, from the beginning of the game when picking Faye in arms from the table)
      "You are free now ... brother" - Kratos (from GOS, from right after the last battle when you place Deimos in his grave and look at him)
      These 2 are very similar and always during my playthroughs of GOW 2018, I thought of what Kratos said in GOS. If we analyze this, we can see how Kratos sees death from another perspective. He sees death as a road to freedom. Deimos died gloriously in battle fighting by his brother side and Faye died peacefully (I say peacefully even if we don't know the circumstances because Kratos and Atreus still had her body around and made her a proper funeral). That's the difference between Kratos' deaths and Faye's & Deimos' deaths. All of Kratos' deaths during the series weren't peacefully or glorious in battle. From this we can go even further as we have enough info (right now his attempt to suicide at the end of GOW 3 and his lines from GOW Fallen God which suggest he can't die by his hands but if he could he would do it to escape from this life) to see that Kratos wants to die and be free. Also we can see from these 2 quotes something like : "If I can't be happy, you still can be happy", so we see that he really cares.

    2. "Why won't you die! Die!" - Zeus (from GOW 3, from the final stage of the final boss fight when Kratos is in his mind because of Zeus' fear and you can clearly hear Zeus screaming this)
      "WHY WON'T YOU DIE!" - Baldur (from GOW 2018, from the final stage of the final boss fight right at the start of this stage you can hear Baldur screaming this)
      This is one of my favorite. We see Kratos quoting Zeus in GOW 2018, but also Baldur quoting Zeus. This is just fascinating and I really think they wanted this to be like it is. Here I don't think it would be anything to be explained. It is all clear and beautiful. When you can hear them both, when you are reading the quotes above, then you will understand and feel them.

      This is what I wanted to talk with someone of, but none of my friends care about God of War so thought I would share with you this. Good day!

    95% of the fights in the game it doesn't matter. When I played on ps4 I remember thinking the same thing. The Valkyrie are stupid fast and they all have a get out of jail free card to disappear halfway across the map, which is fine, but Kratos is a super experienced fighter. He should track them when locked on and turn so you can try and prepare for what's next.

    Off screen attacks fine, I'll lose the target but running 20 feet to the opposite side? I've watched this guy kill an entire ancient civilization of gods. Stop it.

    Lost in the first God of War Remastered on PS3

    I picked up the Crane of Atlus, in that collapsing room where you fight shielded enemies and Sirens. No trouble at all getting THAT done.

    Problem is i have no idea where to go now. I've gone as far back as the room after you get the Blade of Artemis where i killed all the gorgons and soldiers, and the only thing i can think of to go is this bullshit sawblade room with separate switches on opposite ends that open two parts of a gate. Navigating this without taking damage quickly feels impossible, and the second i pull that Switch the other gate closes up again. Is this where i'm supposed to go? Cuz if it is i'ma be on this for a goddamn long while.
