Something I noticed in Helheim (contains spoilers about the end of the game) Posted: 23 Feb 2021 08:07 AM PST Faye placed her mark everywhere Kratos and boi needed to go, but the panels at Jotunnheim reveal that she saw in the future the places they had to go to, meaning that the presence of her marks in Helheim either is because she arrived there at her death, going on the other side of the bridge before the guardian destroyed it, or she travelled there before her death to indicate the way to the bridge keeper. Not so much the "if he's gonna die part" but more of how his power will compare this game to the last? I personally can see Atreus being taken or separated from Kratos somehow... then what? I think this will bring out glimpses and times of old kratos fully enraged doing what must be done to find his son... Something interesting I noticed in Helheim Posted: 23 Feb 2021 05:22 AM PST When we go to Helheim for the first time, to get the bridge-keeper's heart, I noticed his name to be Mattugr Helson. This is interesting because individuals in Norse mythology have last names that are "parent_name + son"; Like Thor Odinson, Odin Borson, etc. If Mattugr Helson is indeed the offspring of Hel, who is the daughter of Loki, Did we (Kratos) just kill out great-grandson lmao..
