So Kratos realises Ares made him kill his family, so he wants to break his oath to Ares. Only way to do that is to kill the furies. Who are in league with Ares to overthrow Olympus.

So Kratos kills the furies, breaking his oath to Ares.

But then he just goes and spends the next 10 years doing his (and the other gods) bidding?

Also, why didn't he mention Ares plot to over throw Olympus?

Am I missing something here?

I know GoW 1 and the PSP titles were made before ascension, but if you're going to do a prequel, why not make it fit with what's already established?

Like in the others Athens and Greece was at stake, but Kratos had access to the entire fucking timeline in 2.

You can check the difficulty of the save your playing on by selecting the save, clicking options to bring the menu on the right then click information it will give you a rundown of your play time and difficulty

PS. This tip may or may not be inspired by constantly dying on titan mode

I've finished the main story and done some of the dwarves quest up to Ivaldi's mist thing. I've got quite good armour but Atreus is still using blue armour. What's the best armour I can get for him before NG+?

Currently doing my run of PS4 exclusives while under quarantine. God of War was the first on my list.

I didn't look into it much since that E3 trailer. I honestly expected a very corridor-like single player experience, with tons of QTEs like the og games.

Boy was I wrong. A couple of hours in, and I could already tell they've taken the tomb raider formula from last gen, and that's pretty cool. The completionist in me loves exploring games with unique side-content and all. As a big fan of combat in souls-like games, and RPG mechanics in general, the game continued to impress.

What was truly shocking though, was how long it took me to beat it. Approximately 50 hours maybe? And here I was expecting to be done with it in a quick 10-hour experience. The pacing was well handled too, and I never felt like I wanted to get it over with.

Either way, kudos to Santa Monica Studios. They refreshed the formula in a way that works, and as a result I'm now looking forward to getting the next game on release day.

I'm using travelers armor+ Hel's Touch, river of knives, spartan charge, Hyperion grapple, Surtr's axe handle, Valkyrie grips for blades, talisman of unbound potential+, perfect mark of kvasir+, perfect mark of protection+, one enchantment that boost hel's touch damage and lastly some random epic enchantments which are level 6-7.
