Does anyone have a video of Kratos being beaten up by his Doppelgängers? (God of War 1 final boss)

    Posted: 05 May 2021 09:48 AM PDT

Title says it all. If your family dies on the boss fight against the 100 clones, Kratos releases his weapons in disbelief and the clones gang on him and rip him apart.

I unfortunately can't find a video on that. Whatever I search on YouTube I either find some extremely generic stuff (like searching for "non-standard game over" or "Kratos being beaten up" and only finding videos of God of War 7) or videos of people having success on the fight against the clones, which makes a whole lot of sense actually but it's not what I am searching for ._.

I feel like Fallen God comics are a scam

    Posted: 05 May 2021 02:50 AM PDT

In each issue the story barely moves forward, half of each one is Kratos complaining or making "unf" noises. I've just read the issue #3 and even the description itself is lying, claiming he plunges Blades of Chaos into the Beast, meanwhile he doesn't use them once. I hoped for some deeper inside into what happened between GoW 3 and 4, some actual dialogue with few Egyptian gods perhaps, something but so far the comic is disappointing. And the next issue is said to be final

Kratos tapping a bit too deeply into his inner Viking

    Posted: 05 May 2021 09:11 AM PDT

Kratos isn't the God of War after which the 2018 game is named.

    Posted: 05 May 2021 06:57 AM PDT

This was spurred by an earlier discussion post, but i just wanted to lay it all out.

So. Its not Kratos. Kratos is of course the protagonist of the game, but he's not a god as he used to be. Hes tryed to shirk the mantle, wouldn't consider himself with the affairs of man in any fashion anymore. Its not Atreus either. Hes just a child who doesn't know his lineage.

There are of course loads of gods mentioned in this game. But only one whos a God of War: Tyr. This is why this game was titled as it was, not only because they wanted a soft reboot of the series due to the mechanical changes, but also because it wasn't actually our God of War any more, its another one.

    Ragnarok

    Posted: 04 May 2021 10:31 PM PDT

I was just thinking about Ragnarok

Magni and Modi were both supposed to survive Ragnarok but they didn't because Kratos and Atreus killed them both.

And I don't think this is because the game isn't accurate to the Norse mythology I think this is because Kratos is from the Greek lands so anything he does in the Norse realms is 100% not accounted but I wonder why Atreus was also not accounted for (since he kills Modi) and then I thought about the fact that since Kratos is his father he also isn't accounted for in the prophecy of Ragnarok (since Kratos is his father and he isn't mean to be in the Norse world). This is a crazy thing to think about but it also makes you wonder how much of the foreseen events that happen will change due to Kratos and Atreus.

Hoping to see more of the 'god' Kratis in God of War Ragnarok

    Posted: 05 May 2021 05:31 AM PDT

In the original trilogy, Kratos' ascension to being a god felt real. From become a giant and fighting ares to absolutely man handling Poseidon and gutting out Titans.

Now in the current god of war his most impressive feats shown being strength are only shown in cutscenes to lift an object, and very tame and lackluster finishers against other gods. The only part that never really got topped was the first interaction with Baldur.

A great opportunity was the dragon battle, but all the player did was chip the dragons nails and throw those explosive red bombs at its face. Very disappointing overall.

I know people keep saying 'he's holding back' and 'he hates using his abilities' but what is the point of playing as Kratos the god of war if we don't get to see and feel his potential. He became popular in the first place due to being the literal embodiment of rage, strength and being non hesitant in his actions.

I dont really feel any satisfaction hacking at some frail draugr 10 times with the mighty leviathan axe which never changes due to the leveling system.

Baldur might appear in GoW Sequel in Helhiem

    Posted: 05 May 2021 03:14 AM PDT

The Twitter header of Cory's profile has each charachter from the game sitting around the table holding cups which each have the rune of one realm

The Cup in Baldur's hand has the rune of Helhiem, Kratos's Cup has Midgard, Freyas cup has Vanaheim and Atreus's cup has Jotunheim

This is an extremely Important hint that Kratos might go to Hel in the next game and we may even meet baldur there This is Crazy🔥💯
