    After beating the story....

    Posted: 25 Oct 2019 08:49 AM PDT

Without spoiling anything, can I still collect artifacts, ravens, and all that kind of stuff after beating the story?

    The migthy punch!

I may have missed out on the collector's edition statue, but the 18" NECA Kratos more than makes up for that.

    Perhaps is nothing but...

Do you remember back in G.o.W (2005), when Kratos was killed by Ares while transporting Pandora's box, he was pinned to the door by a pillar Ares threw, leaving behind a body and a set of blades of chaos? Perhaps this are the blades used by Athena to make her blades, or maybe this is where the current blades came from, because, at the end of 3, Kratos is freed from the blades of Exile after killing Zeus ( look attentively at the cutscene ).

Now this theory has it's flaws, for example it could be that the body wasn't actually left behind but it was taken by the hands of Hades just like in G.o.W 2, but there's no hole in it ( justifiable by the game being supposed to be a stand alone and the "rule" of the damage done to your alive body is carried to your "soul" body not being introduced later in the series ), or it was just forgotten by the developers and never touched upon, or it could be just a plot hole.

This was just something I thought of while watching an unrelated G.o.W video theory, and what I wrote could as well just be the rambling of a fan trying to brainstorm why Kratos has the Blades of Chaos and not the Blades of Exile in the new game, but I digress, what do you guys think?

    Is Ascension any good???

    Posted: 24 Oct 2019 11:31 PM PDT

    It's $5 at Gamestop,

I also own the complete saga edition sans Origins (due to NOBODY telling me it was on a voucher..i would love Origins but it's $15 and im not ready for that commitment haha) So i am very experienced with the series. (I also own a large number of gow clones).

Anyway! Is Ascension any good? I really enjoyed 2&3. (1 was good too)

    ( i apologize if my wording is odd, it's 1:30am here. )

But for those who played it, how does it compare to 1, 2 & 3? Is it worth the very expensive price of $5?

These two Odin images from the shrines of the future Ragnarök.

In both, you can notice Odin is riding Sleipnir to battle, but, there's something I find odd in that pic, the fact that Odin isn't carrying his spear Gungnir, but, instead, some kind of axe.. it may well be the Leviathan axe..

    What do you guys think?

    GoW 5 possible direction maybe

    Posted: 25 Oct 2019 12:01 AM PDT

I feel like Atreus will be kidnapped by Thor and Freya might be there to fight Kratos at the same time Thor is coming at Kratos and Freya with her fighting spirit back (or if she doesn't have it back perhaps uses those vines to bind Kratos to slow him down to assist Thor) Then Thor hits Freya with lightning and saying how useless she is and does not need her help and says Bauldr was a failure as well and couldn't do what Odin sent him to do then takes Atreus and leaves since Atreus may be the key Odin needs for Jotunhiems secrets.

Freya is pissed off at what she heard about Odin sending her son which led to his death and probably didn't like seeing Atreus kidnapped maybe she is still fond of him? she might offer to help Kratos get his son back and pretty much Freya
may be Kratos' co partner for GoW5 since last game was his son perhaps this game its her helping (once you help her get her wings and fighting spirit back) only to save Atreus and kill Odin but still has some resentment for Kratos over her son, it would be interesting to see the dialog between Kratos, Mimir and Freya she would be sassy to the both of them at times and probably most of the game her name to Kratos would be "WOMAN" I would love to see this.

How would you want the battle between Thor and Kratos to go down?

    Posted: 24 Oct 2019 03:22 PM PDT

So, I'm really excited for the next GOW game. I've been doing quite a lot of thinking about how I would wish for the battle against Thor to play out. One of the key things I'm anxious about is how powerful Thor will be in comparison to Kratos. At first, I wanted Kratos to absolutely demolish him by going into a rage not dissimilar to the rage in the previous Greek installments. Then I thought about how much they set his character up in GOW 4 and realised that Thor wouldn't go down do easily. It would be amazing to see them thoroughly evenly matched, more evenly matched than the fight between Kratos and Zeus with neither being able to overpower the other. Even in Spartan rage Kratos would be unable to physically overpower the Thor. Another thing I wish will be in the fight is there to be catastrophic effects like the first Baldur fight but on a much larger scale, a true testament to the power both Kratos and Thor possess. They may create vast Canyons or have shockwaves felt throughout Midgard from the sheer force of their blows. This fight has great potential and if pulled off successfully will go down as one of the best boss fights in gaming. How do you personally want the fight to go down?
